** Childs Farm review and giveaway **

Children get mucky! By the end of the day my two look like they have been dragged through a hedge backwards. There is usually mud smeared on cheeks, food mushed into their hair, pen on their hands and big smiles on their faces. A dirty child is a happy child after all! I’m all for allowing the children the freedom to play and learn about the world around them, but with that comes grubbiness and that means they need a dunk in the bathtub before bed.

Finding the right products for the boys is incredibly important, but can be a bit of a nightmare because Bear is prone to eczema flare ups! So I was really happy to be sent a great little hamper from Child’s Farm, which is an award winning British Brand that creates toiletries using natural ingredients for babies and children. Their products are really kind to skin, even to sensitive and eczema prone skin.

Baby bedtime bubbles

I absolutely love these baby bedtime bubbles because they have really helped change bath time. We could never really have bubbles in the bath before as they tend to irritate Bear’s skin, but this hasn’t been the case with baby bedtime bubbles. They foam up really nicely, are soft to skin and smell amazing! I’ve actually written a post all about our bubbly bath time and some of the fun activities we have used the bubbles for!

Baby moisturiser

I’m a huge fan of baby massage, but as the boys grow older incorporating baby massage into our bedtime routine is slightly more difficult. Since Bear has started attending preschool more often, I’ve started to realised that he is getting ‘growing pains’ more often. I think it is where he is more active and on his feet more often, causing the muscles to tense up during the night. I started massaging his legs and feet after his bath to help circulation and to help relax the muscles before bed, which seems to be helping. The Childs Farm baby moisturiser has been great for after bath massages and it has a great new baby smell, which is just divine!

The baby bedtime set

When Bear was first born, we were given so many baby clothes it was difficult to dress him in all of the lovely outfits we were given. However in the haze of those first newborn days we actually found ourselves short on things like bath time products. This is a lovely little gift set that is a little different and perfect for those first newborn baths. I have a friend who is expecting, so I will definitely be getting her one of these for when her little one arrives.

Childs Farm Biodegradable Wipes

We are really trying to be a bit more eco-friendly and are always looking for new ways to be more conscious of our planet. We recently started incorporating vegan foods into our diet and changed our nappies to a more environmentally friendly brand. We didn’t think to change our wipes though, which seems odd considering how many we get through. We have been testing out the new Childs Farm biodegradable wipes and I absolutely love them. The wipes are soft on skin, suitable for newborns and don’t cause any redness or soreness. They are a little more expensive than our usual wipes, but they are definitely worth the money and it’s good to know we are doing that little bit for the planet.

  1. I’ve never heard of them to be totally honest.
I enjoyed your review felt you were very open and transparent about the products .
The bath one does look and sound lovely.
I’m wondering if they can be bought in Ireland? My littlest has sensitive skin and with this being all natural I’m thinking it may work for him. Biodigradable wipes ! I’m so impressed !!

  2. We love Child’s Farm and have been using them since our daughter was a baby – I love that they have no nasties in their products and they smell lovely too!

  3. Great competition – they look like fabulous products. So with you on the children get dirty theme – I never cared how dirty my boys got when they were little because everything washes! Love the bath picture, one because it reminds me of when my kids were tiny and two, we have no bath (they are not so common in Sweden) and I am jealous! haha

  4. I’ve never tried this range before, it’s great reading a first hand experience. Quite keen to try the massage one, even though my boys 3 I think it’s be a great way to calm him before bed.

  5. That moment of having bubbles in a bath must of been magical. As both my girls have eczema, which when it gets colder gets worse. I actually walked past this today in Asda. I wish I picked some up to try now.
